To complement the many vigorous programs of Kingston College campuses, the Toronto centre also offers tutorial and foundation classes to prepare university bound students to achieve their academic goals. There are professional development programs to assist learners to upgrade their skills in management, accounting, finance, marketing, economics, human resources, information technology, media, travel, tourism, and hotel specialties.
The language centre provides E.S.L. training and teaching of E.S.L. (T.E.S.L.) programs. It also assists in the placement of instructors at overseas teaching sites in China, Korea, and Japan. A new program, Traditional Chinese Medicine is under development. It will teach acupuncture, herbal medicine and “tuina” massage therapy.
Because many companies in North America are interested in business activities of the Pacific Rim, and in particular China, the college offers courses in Mandarin Chinese, Chinese culture, law and business practices. |
